ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY DIPLOMA
Level 3 (ITEC)
A good knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology is essential for anyone involved in therapy work. Study of the structure and function of the human body provides the foundation and underpinning knowledge on which all complementary therapies are based. Understanding the anatomical structures and how they interrelate provides the therapist with the knowledge of the intricate workings of the human body before attempting any form of treatment.
Introduction to the human body and the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the following systems:
Skeletal, Digestive, Muscular, Urinary, Skin, Neurological, Endocrine, Cardiovascular, Lymphatic, Respiratory, Reproductive and Histology.
The course consists of in-house training and assessment plus home study. All tutorials are given with the support of presentations along and teaching aids.
£450. Including exam fee.
The ITEC Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology level 3 examination is a 1 hour multiple choice theory paper comprising 50 questions. Once qualified, students will be awarded an ITEC Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology – a stepping stone to other qualifications such as Holistic Massage, Reflexology and Aromatherapy.
